Curriculum Development Program

I coordinated a project called Fun Art Friday, an afterschool project held every Friday for children schooling or living around the Bertrams area. Most of the children were refugees from all over Africa and this initiative was needed during a time of xenophobia. We made large scale collages, potato prints, drawings and origami paper pieces that were framed and installed in the CDP work space we also reflected about the xenophobic attacks at the time in the form of poetry and dance. I arranged workshops with facilitators from Mauritius, London, Zambia, Kenya and the United States working in a multitude of mediums sharing skills and experience.
