Artist Press
Artist Press is a printmaking studio specializing in stone lithography based in White River, Mpumalanga. Every year the studio has a mass exhibition that caters to anyone interested in the arts. During their exhibition there is a free workshop space aimed at children. I ran these workshops for 3 years and trained Artist Proof Studio students with the logistics involved to plan and execute workshops of this scale. These photos show a particular workshop where each child made a small artist book. A facilitator at each station assisted the child through ink drawings, charcoal drawings, potato prints, intaglio prints and letterpress prints.
