An Ill Adventured Youth
Site specific interactive installation showcasing a 6 meter artist book. Exhibition included a variety of printmaking techniques, performance art projections, working radios made of paper, bio gardens, micro-bacterial images, and artist books. All elements are representative of growth and transformation.
Medium: Printmaking techniques, screen prints, cyanotypes, blind embossings, etchings, woodblocks, and lithographic prints.
Method: 280gsm Fabriano paper; etchings were printed on paper that went through a chromatography process (the extraction of chlorophyll onto paper). This was a project based on growth and transition, with an underlining narrative of separation. The book has many layers and compartments to explore, adding an interactive experience for the viewer to journey through a palimpsest of experiences and emotions.
